چکیده

While Cd production, consumption, and environmental release have all skyrocketed in recent decades, there is currently no practical way to recycle compounds. This suggests that compounds may be very dangerous human health. Due this cadmium remediation from polluted environment urgently needed. Several viable technologies include biosorption, which has several positive aspects low operating expenses, efficient detoxification of toxicants at concentrations amount disposal materials. The biosorption the onto activated carbon Tridax procumbens remodeled using nonlinear regression optimal mode was determined by a series error function assessments. Statistical analysis showed best kinetic model for adsorption pseudo-1st order. All analyses supported order model. constants obtained were qe (mg/g) 5.808 (95% confidence interval 5.043 6.573) k1 (per min) 0.009 0.0064 0.0117). Nonlinear modeling enables determination 95 percent uncertainty range, can used comparison discriminant analysis.

Statistical physics modeling of equilibrium adsorption of cadmium ions onto activated carbon, chitosan and chitosan/activated carbon composite

The adsorption ability of activated carbon, chitosan, and chitosan/activated carbon composite for cadmium separation from aqueous solution was analyzed via statistical physical modeling. The equilibrium data were analyzed by Langmuir, Hill, double layer model, and the multi-layer model with saturation isotherm models. Results showed that the multi-layer model with saturation could well describe...

Investigation of effective parameters on adsorption of amoxicillin from aqueous medium onto activated carbon

In this study, the adsorption of amoxicillin onto activated carbon was investigated. The effect of particle size and the effluent flow rate was discussed as well as the kinetics and isotherm of adsorption equilibrium. The isotherm equilibrium studies showed that the Langmuir model was appropriate for describing the adsorption equilibrium of amoxicillin onto the activated carbon. Furthermore, th...
